I would like to pay homage to a statistical software package that has helped a lot of non-technical people- SPSS. The software package allows anyone to generate complex statistical analysis with the press of a a button. At the same time, the language is sophisticated enough where you could stand out among your other SPSS peers and create your own style. If you are not comfortable with excel and can afford the investment, SPSS may be better suited for you.
