Ms. Amy Moore

CEO and President of Moore Statistics Consulting LLC

Amy Moore is the CEO and President of Moore Statistics Consulting LLC, a research methodology and statistical consulting firm that supports doctoral students, faculty researchers, healthcare professionals, and specialized research projects.

With master’s degrees in Biostatistics and Public Health Sciences, Amy brings more than 15 years of experience teaching graduate-level statistics and conducting statistical analyses across academia, healthcare, and industry. Her professional experience includes work in pharmaceutical research, hospital-based research, and higher education, where she has assisted physicians, nurses, faculty members, and doctoral candidates with research design, statistical analysis, and interpretation of results.

Amy specializes in helping researchers align research questions, methodology, data, and statistical analyses to ensure projects are methodologically sound and statistically defensible. She is particularly known for helping doctoral candidates identify and resolve methodological, data, and statistical challenges before they become major obstacles to dissertation completion. Her project assessment approach helps researchers evaluate the readiness of their study, identify risks, assess variable alignment, review data quality, and determine the most appropriate path forward before investing significant time and resources in analysis.

Through Moore Statistics Consulting, Amy provides support in statistical analysis, research methodology, dissertation consultation, committee revision support, defense preparation, statistical coaching, and research project assessment. Her work spans a wide range of disciplines, including education, healthcare, business, psychology, and specialized research fields.

In addition to her consulting work, Amy is a statistics educator and author of multiple books covering statistics, statistical software, and quantitative research methods. Her publications include titles focused on R, SAS, STATA, and practical statistics for graduate students and researchers. Her books are available through Amazon and other major booksellers.

Amy’s mission is to help researchers navigate complex statistical and methodological challenges with confidence while successfully completing their academic, clinical, and professional research goals.

These books can be found on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and in the website’s shop.
