Welcome to Moore Statistics Consulting LLC

Definitions on a quiz or exam are sweet. It is the teacher’s way of saying, I have run out of ideas on ways to torture you- here is a definition. On an open-book test, those types of questions are your easy points. You just go on google or open your text book and there you go! You can not mess up a definition-based question. You just can’t…actually you can…If you read it too quickly. The conservative approach is to make sure you know your definitions before the test. What types of questions are definition worthy? Terms you barely use in everyday language tend to show up on exam day. Stuff like ‘content validity’ or’inter-rater reliability’. Things that you would never hear someone say in public. Stuff like that… Happy Thanksgiving Everybody!
