Summer School and Statistics Projects

Some people believe summer school is designed to torture poor souls who did not do well in a course during the Fall/Spring Semesters. It’s the summer-time and everybody knows you belong on a beach somewhere. Anywhere else is a nice place to be when you take a summer class. The summer semesters are  condensed into concentrated sessions of random facts which may or may not be related to each other.

In terms of statistics, teachers like to assign statistical projects that reflect all the concepts presented to you during the term. Statistical projects are a jigsaw puzzle and it is your objective to find out what the teacher wants from you. Typically, a teacher will provide you with clues and explicit instructions on how to complete your project. Whether those instructions include navigating your Minitab or SPSS software- you should be able to follow directions enough to get the point of the exercise. For those of you that have no clue, the struggle is real. It’s hot outside, your friends are texting you about how much fun they are having this summer,  and you just want to find a way out. Your spending 8 hours on an assignment and it’s not clear whether or not you are on the right track.

I strongly suggest you get help from somewhere. Assistance with your assignments will lessen the amount of time you spend struggling with the class by yourself. Don’t you want to see the beach at least once this summer?
