Everyone has experienced this once in their life: you are in a room full of capable people and everyone is clueless. You hear people saying stuff like ‘wait you read that in the BOOK?’ or ‘ I don’t know about that one’. It takes a strong person (you) to realize that the group is lost with no direction. The smartest person in the room is the one who knows nothing and owns it. Think about it for a second. You can’t drink an empty glass of nothing. The glass is empty. You need to put something in there…Your stress and worry are fueled by the lack of information. If I do not know something- wouldn’t I be better off seeking the answer? And over time, those solutions become part of the ‘why’ and ‘how-to’ of the mystery. Believe it or not, the search for the answer helps one to regain their quality of life. I can recall a time when I would spend 7 hours a day in study groups. But my productivity did not soar until I realized – Amy you don’t know jack about this topic. In my blogs I always mention this idea of a notebook. Keep a notebook of what you need to learn for a class. Seek the answer. Get help. But do not stay in a state of confusion. Wake-Up.
