A few years ago, I taught r programming to a group of talented researchers. Each student varied in level of understanding and background. One person worked as a pharmacist. Another specialized in microbiology. And a few worked in a research hospital. And it was a laid back, down-to-earth session over the course of 8 weeks. If someone had a question they blurted it out in a comical manner. People were saying things that ranged from ‘Why is everything red?’ to ‘Is it possible to run the same analysis on my bacteria strains?’

My classes are typically expandable, I can handle group with varying levels of understanding simultaneously. I always recommend that people sign-up for classes in groups of 5 to 9 people. That way everyone gets one-on-one personal attention in the classroom setting. All my classes are virtual. If you need office hours, that can be arranged via zoom.
