Summer Warm-Up for the Fall

The summer is a great time to harness new skill sets in preparation for the fall semester. Especially if you are taking short week courses in statistics. It helps to become familiar with certain key phrases and terminology- so the reading assignments go a lot smoother in the fall. Here is a short list of terms you should know before your fall semester course :

  1. Variables
  2. Variable Type
  3. Nominal\Ordinal\Ratio\Interval
  4. Hypothesis Testing
  5. Alpha
  6. Beta
  7. Probability Distribution
  8. Confidence Interval
  9. Z, T tables
  10. Probability

If you know these terms – it helps. If you could take a free webinar which centers around these terms, that will put you ahead of the curve.
